After 30 years of designing jewelry, I am now busy writing the next chapter of my life. This means I will be doing lots of things, just for fun—vegetarian, gluten-free cooking, learning Spanish, spending a lot more time in Mexico with my wonderful husband,Fred, and taking lots of pictures along the way. I hope that my blog will inspire and encourage you as I share our adventures in Mexico (and wherever else I might happen to be), show you some really healthy food that is easy to cook, and introduce you to some interesting people. Most of all, I hope to somehow show you that as you add years to your life your main job is to add life to your years.
So happy to keep up with you through your blog – it is on my list of favorites! Best Wishes to you and Fred.
Yay to My Marvelous Margaret!
hola margarete and fred,
thanks so much for meeting you last night at “la providencia”! it made my new year’s eve in zipolite very special
The feeling was mutual. See you soon at our casita.
Hi Margaret,
This is about Vianka (Heaven). Please contact me. If you have any contact with her, let her know that “Plumpy” inquired about her well being. Haven’t heard from her since I told her I had remarried and was expecting a child. Hint: Headline from the Nashville Tennesean says, “Oh Heavenly Days, stripper gets married”. Hope to hear from you. She’s a great lady.
Love to read your stories🌺
What a perfect “About”: your “retirement plan” is indeed inspiring and I am looking forward to sharing a few tequilla with you here or there! Loved wandering through your blog, happy to follow your adventures…Cheers 🙂
Excellent! Thanks and yes on the tequila.
how interesting! I was teacher, and now work in jewelry!
Lots of beautiful jewelry comes from Bali.
yes, we make great things out of silver, brass, and bronze. The smiths are incredibly talented
Olá Margaret!
It was my turn to visit your blog and to know you a little more. I must say that I found so many points in common with me (and Girls) and, in the other hand, because you are 20 years ahead, I found the fact that you have that same atitude so inspiring. I’m very glad that you found me and that I found you.
Yes. I thought the same thing. This is a little WordPress big smile. Best wishes. Margaret

Beautiful picture and lovely bio, it really drew me in. I am a vegetarian and I would love to visit Mexico one day so really it was a no brainer! All the best x
Margaret, I am the writer of Boulevard. I saw your review and I have to say you understood the movie perfectly, as well as anyone I have yet read. It is appreciated very much. A lot of reviewers totally missed the point of the movie. Best, Douglas Soesbe.
Douglas, this is such a wonderful compliment. I still have the movie on my mind. I have many more thoughts about it. I may go for something more in depth. There was so much to that movie, on so many levels. My review only touched the surface. I did understand that movie, and I loved it.
hello, i just nominate you to the premio dardos award

Thank you so much, Sylvain. That is quite a nice way to start my day. I sincerely appreciate this.
Hey there! I would love to talk to you about your experience with the Miss Gay TN Drag show in Nashville. I am a student here in Nashville, TN doing a project about the pageant and about drag culture, and so your input would really help! We are hoping to include this site in an alternative guide to Nashville that is being published, which you can learn about here https://my.vanderbilt.edu/peoplesguidenashville/. Please feel free to reach out and ask me any questions you might have! I really look forward to hearing from you.
Kayla, I am pretty much out of that scene. I would FaceBook message Suzy Wong BNA. Currently Miss Gay America.
Hi Margaret ! I found this video today and thought of you. It made me realize why you wanted to move to your little paradise. https://www.facebook.com/refinery29/videos/10154871403172922/
Thanks for sending. This is great. So is Mexico.
I would love to visit, it seems like such a peaceful place. A good place to press the reset button.
I agree
I’m not happy that you are fighting an illness but I am glad that you are doing it in that kind of environment. I wish you well very soon.
I feel that I won this fight, Trudy. My mission now is to stay healthy. I don’t see it as a fight. It is a way of life.
